It’s a difficult many times to take a teddy bear or sort toy with you while you are traveling. Teddies and soft toys normally don’t fit in a suitcase. Teddy Bear Political Party - Teddy Bear Election Sign

These days media across the globe is busy showing the news about upcoming elections in the largest democracy in the world. Yes I'm talking about the upcoming elections in India, theres news about these elections every where in the print media, TV and internet. Internet is full of fans posting pics about political parties trying to expose the rivals. Political parties in India are also spending a lot over advertisement every where.

Now while I was reading the recent post at this blog for teddy bears, I realized that is was a politician behind the popularity of teddy bears. You car refer to this post for more details. Just to summarize in the year 1902, then then president of the United Stated, Mr. Theodore Roosevelt once on a hunting trip refused to shot a bear. Soon after that event a cartoon was published in media and the cartoon become viral. The bear in the cartoon looked very cute and given the popularity it got Morris and Rose Michtom from New York created a soft toy bear and named him Teddy Bear in honor of the president Theodore for not killing the bear.

I wonder had Mr. Theodore been a politician in India and started his own political part, he could have named is Party Teddy Bear party of India and the sign of the political party would be a teddy bear perhaps in tri-color. A: I get this name for U.S President Theodore “Teddy” Roosevelt. In 1902, President participated in a bear-hunting trip. While hunting, he declared the behavior of the other hunters “unsportsmanlike” after he refused to kill a bear cub they had captured. As news spread political cartoons starring “Teddy” and “the bear” Morris and Rose Michtom in New York saw the cartoon. . Rose made some small stuffed bears to sell in their store. Morris wrote to Roosevelt requesting his permission to call the bears "Teddy Bears"

Q:What would be that one thing that you would want to change in your love ones?
A:Guys you always hug me, sleep with me but when you frustrate from life you beat me but I never say anything. I just want to say that do not change for your love ones as I do. I am same from my first day as you say me first time.

If you keep playing with your teddy for long time, chances are there that your soft toys get dirty with time. If you feel that your teddy bear is not looking good or its not clean and if you are afraid to clean your teddy bear yourself, then no need to worry. Many soft toys fear that by cleaning or washing the teddy bear might lost the lovely looks or the fur might not be that soft after cleaning.  You just need to follow the manufactures instructions for cleaning combined with some tips for teddy bear cleaning. Be careful while cleaning your teddy bear and remember the tips given below: 

• You can clean your teddy bear with a soft cloth without using any soap. Just take your teddy in a bucket, tub or sink filled.                                                                             
• wash your teddy with using a damp brush very easily.         
• Keep the washing level normal while washing in a washing machine. Remove any clothing before washing your toys, and don’t wash your teddy bear with any other clothes in the machine. Check the care label, before wash your toys, because for some toys, machine washing is not suitable.
• Don’t use machine for drying your soft toys
• You can use daily brush to keep dirt away.
• If you don’t want to wet your teddy bear then you can use a vacuum cleaner.
• You can use perfume for your toys and make him smell nice.
• While you are going for a long time outside, you can cover them.
• Don’t use lamps heat for drying your teddy bears.

Wash you teddy bears – Do it yourself teddy bear cleaning

With time all your lovely and cute looking teddy bears start losing the cute looks and become dirty. With you and your friends playing with your teddy all the time, your soft toys tend to get dirty. However apart from playing most of the people also carry their teddy bears and softies toys along while traveling or sleep with them. Thus its very much important to maintain the hygiene and keep your soft toys clean. Please note that you must follow the washing instructions in any attached in the label etc. If there aren’t any particular washing instructions, then you can choose anyone from the points mentioned below. Kindly use these instructions wisely.

Here are some tips to clean your teddy bears /soft toys:

1. Cleaning using cloth: It’s advised to use a soft and clean cloth while cleaning your soft toys. Take
the cloth, dampen it and use gently to remove dirt from the teddy bear. All you need is to gently
rub the teddy fur with the cloth.
2. Dry Cleaning: Perhaps this is the simple best way to keep your stuffed buddy’s neat and clean.
However it can be costlier affair.
3. Hand wash: You can try hand washing as well. Just soak your toys in a bucket, tub or sink filled
with soap water (please use some mild detergent). Wash them using your hands so that all
the dirt gets removed as you do while hand washing your pillows or cloths. Once cleaned dip
and rinse in normal water to take out all the soap from the teddies and allow them to dry in
sunshine.
4. Vacuum cleaning: Alternately if you don’t want to wet the teddy bear, try a vacuum cleaner.
5. Washing machine: You can even wash the teddy bear and other soft toys in a washing machine.
Just make sure you don’t use machine for drying purpose and keep the washing level to normal
or hand wash. Also don’t wash teddy bear along with any other clothes in the machine.
6. Using soft brush: For general and quick cleaning you can use a gentle brush to maintain that shine
of the toy.

If not then you are among the population that still sleeps with a teddy bear or chances are there that you still sleep with your childhood teddy bear.  According to a recent survey by Travelodge it was found that around 33% of adults still sleep with a teddy bear or soft toy of their child hood. Travelodge is a hotel chain in Britain and they surveyed around 6000 people. Here are the highlights of the survey conducted by the team:

• More than 33% of adults still sleep hugging the childhood teddy bears or soft toys.
• Population also included men. So it’s not women who love soft toys, men love them too.
• According to the people participating in the survey sleeping with the teddy bear or a soft way is the best way to end the day.
• Around 25% men said that teddy bears remind them ho their homes and that’s the main reason they carry the soft toys with them while traveling away from home.
